First and foremost, I am so sorry for the delay in publishing this post! I am currently dwelling at the bottom of the "ocean" of assignments and I have so many deadlines to meet. But don't worry, I will never abandon my blog haha! *winks*
Yeah the title said it all, I am going to blog about the journey I have been through with all the other candidates in the Asia Muse Search competition! So, last Saturday was the grand finals of the competition and it was held in Tropicana City Mall.
We had to reach the venue very early in order to be in time for a short rehearsal, get our hairdo and makeup done and of course, get ourselves mentally prepared. Thank you Teddy for carrying the bulky keyboard everywhere for me, accompanying me during my break time, being patient and also supporting me all the time!! *blows kisses to him lolol*
Every candidate looked really good and confident that day. Everyone gave their very best in catwalks, performance and mix-and-match session! I think we have done a great job! Of course, all these would not happen without the very best effort from Mina and ViVi team, the makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers and sponsors! So I would like to take this opportunity to send my big THANK YOU to this AWESOME team out there!! :D

Kaaboomz! I happened to admire the makeup artist's job on my face hahahaha. So glad that I actually received a lot of positive comments about the makeup! Anyway, I still prefer natural makeup more hahaha!

All of us were divided into 3 in a group for fashion show! My partners were Michelle (the cute girl in the middle) and Yvonne (the rockstar babe with her hipster-hairstyle hahaha)!

All of us had to keep smiling when we were standing in front of the crowd for minutes at the end of the fashion show. My smile became completely stiff HAHAHA!!
After the fashion show, we dashed backstage to get changed and prepare for the upcoming TALENT SHOW. I can tell every one of us was really nervous for the talent show! One thing I really appreciate is that we wished each other "good luck" before each of us went up the stage. I really love the team spirit we had there!

These were taken during our Mix and Match session! We had to choose any two items on the table and match them ourselves - all done within a limited period of time. I chose two accessories: Spiky hairband and Tiffany blue bracelet!

This was the spiky hairband that I have chosen! Obviously the hairstyle was not done by me la hahaha!
After a torturous wait, the moment which all of us had been waiting for has finally come! We were waiting so anxiously for the results to be revealed, but yet were nervous enough to wish that it would be announced maybe another day. We were all so relieved for finally making our way to the very end of this long journey; and nevertheless excited because we wanted to know who is going to be crowned as the champion! At that very moment as I staggered onto the stage, my heart was roaring like a furious beast chained down in my rib cage, hungry for its release. I took a deep breath, in hope it calms nerves down, and waited silently...
So are you excited to know who the TOP 3 winners are? *drum rolls*

They have 2 special awards: namely "Best Performance" award and the "Fashionista" award!! Guess who won the Fashionista award!!! *wink wink* I was astonished when my name came through the huge speakers standing next to the stage. Feeling a swell of pride sweeping through me, I presented myself to the crowds jubilantly.

I couldn't sing well. I couldn't dance well. But I think I can at least play the piano well lolol. The songs I performed that day were Marriage D'Amour and Richard Clayderman's Rondo! Honestly, my heart was thumping so quick and fast before I got up to stage. I started imagining the worst-case scenario that might happen but at the same time, the other part of me kept reminding myself to be confident! After the intense 3 minutes (for me it was REALLY intense hahaha), I think I did well in my performance haha!!

I never regretted a single bit for joining this competition as it really gave me a rewarding, yet inspiring experience. Not forgetting to mention, it expanded my social circle as I was given this golden opportunity to cross paths with a lot of new lovely friends from this competition.
