Today's post is all about the magical Tokyo Disneysea!!! Visiting Tokyo Disneysea is one of the must-do's in my bucket list. To my surprise, I am fortunate enough to be able to tick it off in 2015!!! *hooray*
Seriously, I'd been longing to go to Tokyo Disneysea since forever. I had always wanted to experience the differences between Disneysea and Hong Kong Disneyland first hand! H.K Disneyland was amazing, so I definitely had higher expectations for Tokyo Disneysea, since Disneysea is only available in Japan! Read more to find out whether it met my expectations. :p

Grabbed some onigiri before heading to Disneysea! ONIGIRI IS THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER I CAN HAVE IT EVERY MORNING UNTIL THE END OF FOREVER.

All dressed up for Disneysea!

Disney characters for Easter celebration are so cute omfg.

Oh hi, Mickey train. I've missed you!

My friend, Melanie bought our entrance tickets online! (Remember to keep this ticket throughout your trip, because you need it to get fast-past tickets!!!)

OFFICIALLY SET FOOT IN DISNEYSEA OMGOMGOMG.

Donald Duck was the first mascot I met in Disneysea, but I didn't manage to take a photo with him because he rejected me wtf. There was no queue, only a bunch of people surrounding and interacting with him. After waiting for a few minutes I attempted to grab its arm and posed for a photo BUT it turned out that he wasn't bothered at all lololol. I was stoning in my pose, waiting for him to face the camera, and he just ignored me grr. In the end, I just walked away sadly, from an unrequited love only still sweet in my childhood memories...
Okay not gonna rant about the duck anymore hmmph.
Lets keep move (on/around Disneysea)!

Ahhhh my dream land!!!

HAHAH just realised that my pose was similar to Mickey's!!!

The mountain behind me is a significant icon in Disneysea. Do you know that there's a roller coaster ride built right within the mountain too???

One major difference between Disneyland and Disneysea - some of the performances in Disneysea are carried out on the water!!! Besides, the performances in Disneysea are mostly in Japanese language (oh well #TouristProblems).

The performers were very friendly - they waved and smiled to nearly every sign of life around them lol! That's the thing I love so much about themed-parks: everyone is so cheerful, a whole atmosphere of positive vibes and you'll just feel like you are the happiest person in the world.

The first ride we took was the Tower of Terror.
This is meant for the high-speed, free-fall loving adrenaline junkies. Better yet, you get the thrill in pitch darkness. At the beginning, you will be elevated to the penthouse. When you reach the highest floor of the building, the elevator door will open, allowing you to feast your eyes with the panoramic scenery of Disneysea high above the ground. Without a sign, the elevator will drop in a free fall. And i thought I almost had a heart attack. Haha!

The queue was quite long for this ride - but it was totally worth it!!

The breezy weather was just perfect for outdoor activities!!! It's just that kind of weather which you can walk miles and miles without having a single thing to complain about!!

"Bring me home!"

Duffy bears!! In Japan, Duffy bears seemed to be more popular than the usual Disney characters. I'm not sure why but according to the Japanese, Duffy is the Disneybear that brings happiness!

Not forgetting to mention, every spot in Disneysea is so photo-worthy!

We also went for the Aquatopia ride, which disappointingly, was not thrilling at all hahaha. It's pretty relaxing though! Just try not to let boredom catch up on you x)
Hahaha selfie on the ride! :P
Selfie with Melanie! ♥

Queued up for Storm Rider after little break from the thrills! Storm Rider is a simulator that puts you in an aircraft that is flying into the middle of a violent storm, with the mission of putting the storm to an end. Sounds cool huh? I personally find this ride a waste of time. Unfortunately, the experience was a little too unrealistic and it just didn't stimulate my senses at all. Compared to the Transformers Ride in USS, Storm Rider can only qualify for a "subpar" rating. :/
*You may try it out still, the above is only my personal opinion!*

Stopped by for a quick lunch!

Base Camp Set (1490YEN)
I had little expectations for theme-park food, but to be honest, this one was not bad at all!!

My set came with a dessert, which was quite yummy!

Mum's grilled salmon (930YEN)

OH MY GOD IT'S STITCH!!!! Sadly, we didn't have the chance to take a picture with them. :(

Hehe do you like my outfit? Comment and let me know! :p
Part 2 will be up soon!!! ♥
