I have absolutely no idea why it is taking me so long to finished blogging about my Tokyo trip. When I told my friends that I'm updating my blog regarding my trip, they were like: "Huh?!! Haven't finished meh?!!"Yup, I have yet to finish writing my posts about my trip in Tokyo yet, but this will be the second last post already! So, hang in there! We're almost done!
Today, I'll be blogging about 2 themed restaurants that I've visited on my second last day in Tokyo - My Melody & My Sweet Piano Cafe and L'Occitane Cafe.
Let's talk about the My Melody one first, shall we?

This super cute pop-up cafe is located in Shibuya Parco FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY from 19th of March to the end of May 2015. I made it a point to pay a visit because I'm a really huge fan of My Melody!!!! We reached there around 12pm and there was a long queue in front of the cafe - which proves how popular this cafe is!

Wah the lilac-coloured menu is super adorable omg!!

The choices of food are pretty limited, but I guess it doesn't really matter because most of the people came here for the desserts lolol.

Expectedly, for themed cafes like this, the prices of the food tend to gravitate more to greater numbers. But I came all the way for this.... *dear savings, I'm so sorry T_T*

Strawberry Milkshake.

My Melody Latte. (SO, SO CUTE!!!)

Even their sugar packets are super adorable!!

We also ordered a dessert set which comes with a complimentary cup as souvenir for us to take home!

I actually ordered this set just for the cup lolol.

To be honest, there's nothing really remarkable about this plate of (expensive) dessert! It costs us 1730Yen, which is about RM60!! :/

Verdict: I'm rather disappointed with the quality of the food, which is not on par with the price at all although they look pretty appetising. For me, I don't think I will drop by for a visit if I happen to be in Tokyo in the future. :(
Let's move on to L'Occitane Cafe, which is located in a very strategic location facing the Shibuya crossing. So there's no reason you can't find this cafe!

While waiting to be seated~

It's super crowded at night, so you have to queue up and wait to get a table. But fortunately, we got a table by the window without having to wait for too long!

By the way, food-sharing is not allowed. So, let's say you have two people dining in, you have to order at least 2 items.

We went for the dinner set, which came with a bowl of salad, a plate of main dish, a dessert and a pot of tea.

I forgot what this is called but the soup was richly flavoured, and drenched in the soup were chicken chunks and vegetables.

The BEST crème brûlée I've ever had oh-my-god!!! The custard was so soft and smooth that it literally melted as I sent a spoonful of them into my mouth.

So we spent about RM100 here for both food and drinks, which was way more worth it than the money we spent in the My Melody cafe lolol.

This was the view from our table. It was not really a perfect view of the Shibuya crossing because the trees and the lamp pole ruined our view hahaha! But that's okay, at least we did enjoy our meal here! This cafe is a good option for you to have some warm, soothing tea over some hearty chats with your loved ones after a long day of walking!
