A few days ago, I wrote about how I was exploited by a client on my blog.
The blog post has attracted a lot of views, attention and responses, which was really unexpected for me. Many people started sharing the post out, spreading it to their friends and family.
(Even my uni friends who don't read my blog, read that blog post out of curiosity..you know who you are haahahahaha)
Also, many people commented on my post and showed their support, which I am really thankful for.
Thank you all for your concern.
Well, three days after the blog post was published, I received a text from my talent manager that the client has read the blog post.
They were very concerned about this issue and they wanted to talk it out with me to resolve it.
They said they could totally understand my frustration and anger, and why I wanted to bring this issue up to the public.
I will not disclose our conversation any further as I think it's better to keep it between the parties involved only.
However, I can tell you that we have agreed and come to a resolution for this matter.
The client is willing to make compensation and send me an OFFICIAL apology letter to make it up for this situation, while I promise to take down the blog post that contained negative comments about them.
This afternoon, I received an "apology" email from the client's representative.
And this is how the email looks like:
Wow.
Just wow.
I wasn't expecting this at all, and it's my first time receiving such an impressive apology letter!
Really, I am impressed that this email actually came from a representative of an established company.
I think even primary school students can write a better OFFICIAL apology letter, don't you guys think so?
No addressing. No salutation. No greetings. No explanations. No sign-off.
Most important of all, NO SINCERITY???Ok la, maybe 1% la.
I mean, if you want to apologise to someone, you do it whole-heartedly.
I don't know but I feel like she is doing it just because she HAD to???
Am I really asking for too much?

How would you feel if you receive an apology letter like this?
Comment and let me know.
