Recently I visited Khao Yai and Bangkok with my girl, Joanne. If you haven't read about my Khao Yai trip, feel free to read it
HERE! After Khao Yai, our private driver drove us to Bangkok.
This time around, we chose to stay with
Hotel Icon Bangkok, which is located right in the city centre of Bangkok - a few minutes away from
BTS Ploenchit Station, which makes them an ideal place to experience Bangkok. Major shopping malls like Siam Paragon, Siam Square, EmQuartier, etc are just a 10-minute drive away!

Honestly, our room was pretty spacious (there are still empty spaces for us to place our luggages!) and the king-sized bed was super comfortable. The room also has everything we need and coming back to our hotel room after a long shopping day felt just like home!

Located on the 6th floor (same floor as the swimming pool), Violet Bar is the perfect place for you to just relax and enjoy your night with a wide range of drinks and their signature cocktails. The sunset and night city view from the Violet Bar is something not to be missed.

To be honest, I think this hotel is really good value-for-money because of its amazing location, facilities and cleanliness. And their rates are actually pretty affordable (depending on your traveling dates)! We totally enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a comfortable stay that is not overly-priced.
